About Point Guard Credit

Evidence over promises. Documentation over guarantees.

Point Guard Credit is a consumer credit-report help business. We help people understand their credit reports, document disputes, and organize evidence for independent attorney review.

The goal is simple: a transparent service that helps people understand what's on their credit report, preserve the evidence, and figure out what might be worth pursuing. All without guaranteeing outcomes or practicing law without a license.

We combine credit-report analysis, dispute tracking, consumer education, evidence organization, and attorney-ready case prep. Where it makes sense, we look at inaccurate or unverifiable information reported by the credit bureaus and the furnishers feeding them.

We also work with people facing collection lawsuits, arbitration demands, or other debt-related litigation. We help organize the account records, credit-report evidence, correspondence, and dispute histories for independent attorney review.

Our principles

  • Documentation-first

Organized records and chronology over promises.

  • Compliance-minded

Processes built around the FCRA and reviewed by counsel.

  • Consumer education

    Informed consumers make better decisions.

The Point Guard

A paralegal since 2007. A point guard since the first tip-off.

Long before Point Guard Credit, I was organizing credit-report disputes, pulling account records, and building evidence files for myself, for friends and family, and for clients. Year after year, the same pattern kept showing up. The other side often can't actually prove what it claims. The debt was securitized into a trust, the chain of title broke, the furnisher's records don't line up across bureaus.

I built Point Guard Credit to put that experience to work. Organizing the facts, documenting the disputes, and preparing a file that's ready to hand to an attorney or ready to run yourself, pro se.

The name isn't an accident. On the court I was the point guard. The one who ran the floor, ran the team, organized the offense, and led. That's the same job here. Read the situation, set the play, get everyone in the right position, and run it.

Experience, honestly stated

  • Paralegal since 2007. Years of hands-on credit-report and dispute work.
  • Built files for friends, family, and clients before launching Point Guard Credit.
  • Document organization and consumer education. Not legal advice.

A paralegal is not an attorney. Point Guard Credit does not give legal advice or representation. Legal strategy and representation are the responsibility of a licensed attorney.

Securitization & Standing

They have to prove they have the right to sue you.

A lot of debts get securitized. They're bundled into a bankruptcy-remote entity, often a master trust that actually holds the receivable. The act of securitization isn't illegal, and it doesn't make the underlying debt void. You can still be sued on it.

But the person suing you still has to prove they have the right to sue you. That means producing the chain of title and, often, the master pool service agreement. They frequently don't want to produce it. This is all public record, filed with the SEC.

When they can't prove standing, that matters. As a paralegal, I help organize the records, document the questions, and prepare the file so you or your attorney can press the issue. This isn't legal advice. It's information and assistance.
